Nancy Spiteri

Nancy brings over two decades of real-world business and finance experience to her work as an accountant. She spent 10 years with one of the Big 4 banks before leaving in 2019 to focus on building and running a successful earthmoving company for over 20 years. Driven by a desire to better understand the financial challenges faced by business owners, Nancy completed her accounting degree in 2010 and became a Registered Tax Agent in 2014.

In 2017, Nancy discovered cryptocurrency and quickly recognised it as a major market disruptor—one that was not yet well understood within the accounting industry. Since then, she has actively engaged with digital assets and decentralised finance platforms to maintain a practical, real-world understanding of how these transactions work. This hands-on experience allows her to stay current with compliance, record-keeping, and the tax treatment of crypto, DeFi, and NFT transactions—all from a strict accounting and regulatory perspective.
